Boone Avenue Walls has become one of my favorite graffiti events in New York City.

This year, I decided to slow down and experience the event differently. Instead of chasing every wall, I spent more time hanging out, photographing the writers, and talking with the people behind the art.

I also asked six members of TVT about their approach to graffiti, their crew, competition, fatherhood, inspiration, and what keeps them pushing themselves.

Their answers gave me a different perspective on what happens behind the walls.

From massive productions like Ghost Rider, Goosebumps, and Bayou, to the next generation of writers showing up with black books, Boone Avenue Walls is about much more than spray paint.

It’s about the people, the culture, the friendships, the competition, and passing the torch.

SantaCon Yonkers transformed Downtown Yonkers into a festive holiday experience with a lively bar crawl supporting local restaurants and bars. Organized by The 914 Collective in partnership with the Downtown Yonkers BID, the event brought the community together during the quiet week between Christmas and New Year’s.

A fun and high energy Quinceañera at the Portuguese Club in Tarrytown, NY. From festive holiday decor and packed dance floors to emotional moments between Liana and her family, this celebration was filled with unforgettable memories.

Mike and Natasha’s baby shower at B Social in Port Chester, NY was a beautiful celebration filled with love, thoughtful details, and family connection. From their picnic themed gender reveal in White Plains to the modern industrial baby shower venue, this event was a joy to photograph. As a Westchester County event photographer, capturing moments like these is what I love most.

Khloe’s Sweet 16 at Castle Royale was my first official Sweet 16, and it ended up being an incredible experience to photograph. From arriving early and capturing detail shots to lighting the dance floor with my off-camera flashes, this post breaks down how I documented the night’s energy, laughter, and unforgettable moments.

Mood Haus, in collaboration with Yonkers Arts, transformed an art gallery into a hub for music, culture, and community. With live DJs, curated art, and bites from Pastelito Lady, this intimate 80-person event brought creatives together for an unforgettable night of connection and good vibes.

Trivia Night at Ridge Hill in Yonkers brought over 20 teams together for prizes, drinks, and summer fun. Families, friends, and passersby enjoyed a night of laughs, music, and community connection.

McFly Fest 2025 was a perfect summer day in the Bronx filled with fashion, food, family fun, and live performances. Hosted by Mugzy McFly and Street Archive, the event brought the community together with local vendors, giveaways, bouncy houses, and music from Zeddy Will and special guest Cash Cobain.
